IntentIon
the site is along a five kilometre cultural path that is
established in the area before. I saw this project as an
opportunity to create a place where you can rest and
take time to experience your surroundings. It is a place
where you can enjoy a moment of silence either alone
or in company with others. the space should provide
the opportunity to light a fire and in other ways use the
construction to watch the stars, animals or the light
from the bonfire. the conditions for stargazing in the
area are quite good because the light pollution is low
given the fact that rindal is located far from a larger
city.

Place
to create this kind of place I chose a more intimate
structure where the fire place is the main meeting point.
there are two floors in the construction, the ground
floor is covered with a roof witch is the upper floor. the
second floor is a more isolated space where you can for
example watch the sky without being disturbed by the
light from the bonfire. the stair that takes you to this
floor is located towards the existing path, and also the
main entrance for the inner space is facing the same
direction.
