the site where the stargazing structure is
supposed to be is situated in rindal, a small
commune in the geographical centre of norway.
near to a friendly neighbourhood and along the
cultural path, the site is located beside a field and
surrounded by old, tall needle trees.

IntentIon Program
the intention program is a collage of several
children drawings of the second grades in
rindal elementary school. It shows the most
important things the kids associate with a place
for stargazing: it should be a cosy and sheltered
space, with the possibility to gather around a
fireplace such as a place to play.
the whole scenario is covered by the stars.

In my draft, I tried to integrate all the needs and
different uses the structure should include, even if
they exclude each other, like the fireplace and star
gazing, because of the light pollution. the struc-
ture I created consists basically of a stair, whose
stairs variate in width and height.
they are becoming with every step smaller and
through that also more intimate.
