three PavIlIons

apart from the former project to watch the

stars, we also decided to create a couple more

pavilions with diverse strong points and

focuses.

there are 3 pavilions:

moon PavIlIon

this one is the existing stargazing tower,

perceived as an introspective space and only

in contact with the sky. thought to be used for

gathering people around the fire and going up

at night time.

sun PavIlIon

this one comes out of the need to make the

users conscious of the king of the sky and

our relationship with it. how the sun star

determines our present in terms of light.

Why does it happen and how does it affect the

earth.

here we keep the same decagonal plan, since

it was helping the process.

We only used half of the polygon to project the

radiations of the sun through a hole made in

the other side.

according to the drawing made, it would be

possible to know the exact time of the year

with only such a hole and screen.

earth PavIlIon

this one is the playground. the place were

the users could play close to the ground and

concentrate in the terrestrial cosmos.

there we also kept the decagonal plant

only changing its proportions, since it was a

proper shape to create social gathering at the

same time as having fun with the exercises.

therefore, every face of the figure has a

different use.
