We based our work during the developing

process of the dreamcatcher in trying to figure

out which things would work properly in terms

of production and construction, and which we

had to rethink.

after the analysis, we found out that the

main structure could be prefabricated in the

workshop and assembled on site, you can see

the detail of the joint to the right.

the stairs and the net, though, were not such

an easy thing to figure out, due to the balance

between design and security. that’s why we

ended up using fisherman’s net as a method

to safely climb up the tower and also to lay on

it and provide this nest feeling once the user

gets to the top.

another factor was the acceptance of the

snow within the project. We would not develop

a method in order to remove it. Instead, we

decided to allow it to enter and simply adjust

the heights of the facade and railing according

to the new flooring level.
