This week we tried to get an understanding of our problem by reading the master thesis of Axel and Eivind, as well as papers on the topic.
This week we met with Karin and Martin to better understand what they wanted from us on this project.
This week we met with Eivind Modalsli at TOV. Read more about it here.
This week we completed our first testprint in TPU. Read more about it here.
This week was an off week in the sense that we were unsure where to go next, and were just trying to read up on our opportunities.
This week we printed an upscaled version of our first testprint, and made sure it was airtight. Read more about it here.
We also had a brain storming session to better understand where we want to go with our problem. Read more about that here.
This week I read about sensing materials made from CB and CF in a silicone matrix, and am planning to continue developing this type of sensor. Read more about that here.

This week I made an accelerometer setup to measure movement, and it worked. Got basic data on walking and standing still. Later the same week I mounted on some diodes to see if I could hardcode difference between rest and standing up, and that too worked pretty good. But only if the person sits down with foot elevated so needs some more work.

This week I improved the accelerometer setup to protect the internal wiring by laser cutting a box. I did a second test to get data on movement.

This week we agreed to make a table of all sensors and applications we could think of. On Monday we will divide different sensors to further look into.
Met to discuss findings on sensors with Duguma. Divided some work and will start making prototypes using the different types. Also want to get the prototypes tested on Eivind's test rig.
