Wanted to know more about the process of making a new prosthesis for below-the-knee amputees. Also wanted to get ideas on what the main problems for the users are today and ways of lowering the cost of making prosthetics (lowering the amount of iterations).

Eivind is most excited about making an inset that can expand and contract by pumping it up. Insets exist today but are not adaptive in any way.

  • It would be cool to make it in TPU as Axel did last year, just developing it further.
  • Adding sensors inside the TPU would be nice.
  • Making it airtight.
