A snow-covered plateau leading into the forest, tall
spruce, and a steep valley.
A secretive, white carpet of snow.
Soft, wavy contours creating a dreamy landscape.
An occasional birch breaking through the surface.
Silence.

Wading around in the deep snow.
Trying to grasp the essence of the place.
