Graphite tube furnace - TF3 - E-118

Application

Possibilities:

• Temperature limit: 1700 °C
• Max heating rate: No limit
• Max cooling rate: No limit
• Size: Crucible diameter up to 42mm
• Atmosphere: Inert gas, Nitrogen, CO
  
  
• Gas blowing from top
• Adjustable temperature gradient

Can not be used for:

• Oxidizing atmosphere
• Hydrogen corrodes the graphite heating element (replacement necessary after approximately 100 hours use under Hydrogen atmosphere)

Previously used for:

• Slag refining experiments under Argon, Hydrogen and Nitrogen atmosphere
