Application
Possibilities:
Tmax = 2650ºC
- Inert or reducing atmosphere controlled by multiple MFC's With flow from 0,1 to 5 L/min
Gas purged into the furnace: Ar (<2000ºC), N2 (1800-2000ºC), He (>2000ºC)
A gas analyzer is connected to the furnace and the concentration of CO in the off-gas will be obtained.
- Real time logging and graphs for temperature and analysis
Safety and operation
Working zone: Ø = 7,5 cm, H = 15 cm
Vacuum-chamber: 0,16 mbar
- Closed graphite chamber for top loading With controlled atmosphere
Sample loading mechanism from bottom of furnace (elevator)
Quenching/cooling chamber (elevator)
Gas safety system
Online gas analysis system, CO
Previously used for:
- Heating quartz and silicon carbide in the range of 25 to 2450ºC in Ar-CO-H2 gas atmosphere.
