the kids’ drawing is in a centred position in the
graphical illustration of the Intention Program.
the bed is a synonym for sheltered and protected
area to be in, which his underlined by the
triangular elements surrounding it. one has to
climb ladders to reach it, but once being there,
one has room for looking at the stars, dreaming
and letting fantasy run free.
the main aspects I want to achieve relate with
the sentence “tid til a leve” – time to live. living,
being, having a good time with family and friends
at any time is something the star gazing structure
should enable.
outcome
there are two main forms in the Intention
program that caught my eye. the first one, the
triangle, stands in a strong connection to the
platform and therefore forms kind of a foundation
for the whole concept and structure.
But the second one, the vertical that is adapted
from the ladders, is a form I experimented with.
therefore I made several illustrations which refer
to the topic of a ladder as well as the vertical and
horizontal structure of trees and their branches.
those studies lead to an abstract kind of forest,
hanging between triangular platforms. the
extraordinary thing about this “forest” is that it is
flipped upside down.
