feelIngs
sometimes you feel like you are on top
of the world, maybe even flying among
the stars, or you have a down to earth-
experience. this project accentuates all
these feelings due to different spaces that
are formed out of cubic boxes that have
some sort of closing like a wall, floor, roof,
or even a combination. the stacked cubes
allow the feeling of being on, over, on top
of, inside, under something or on high and
low level.
IntentIonProgram
my intentionprogram has three different
stages. the first stage is the “earthstage”
which is meant to be the social and cosy
area. out of the intention program I also
acquired that this space should provide
shelter and cozyness in contrast to the
other stages. the second stage is the
journey to the third stage “heaven and
the stars”. It should guide your way up to
the stars through an exciting road, which
is designed as a kind of labyrinth. so this
stage opens up more and more towards
the stars until you reach the highest stage
where you have nothing but the view
towards the stars.
keyWord contrast
the main contrast is between the fireplace
and the stargazing place. the structure
starts with a closed and protected area
and develops into an open space, opening
towards the night sky.
