Background and objective
The Nordic TSOs are about to implement new
demands for delivery of primary governing, FCR.
Power plants may have to undergo qualification
tests to participate. The purpose of this master
thesis is to develop a numerical model that can
be used to simulate the qualification test for
FCR delivery for a specified hydro power plant,
and determine if the plant can comply with
the qualification criteria for different modes of
governing and grid stabilisation.
