Pension Fund (the lower limit for membership is 14 hours of work per week or 60
hours per month). An amount corresponding to two per cent of a member’s salary is
paid as a pension contribution and membership fee. The Norwegian Public Service
Pension Fund comprises retirement pension, disability pension and dependents’
pension, as well as group life assurance and compensation for occupational injury

Group life assurance and occupational injury insurance
NTNU provides group life assurance and occupational injury insurance for its
employees. See the section above.
Travel insurance
You can obtain free travel insurance through a personal membership in Diners Club
or through other credit card companies. NTNU will cover the fee. For more
