THE CONSTRUCTION

the main beams are connected to the
columns using the bypass system. the
beams at the tower also function as
bracing, making it more stable
the secondary beams rest on the main
beams and carry the floor decks.
the columns are joint pillars with steel
rods connecting them to the foundation
the cladding is discontinuous, revealing
parts of the construction to the outside.
the rods that the cladding is nailed to, are
vertical, while the cladding is horisontal
the crossbracing makes the entire structure
stiff, and greatly reduces the amount of
bending the columns have to absorb
