We are currently looking to find a DevOps Engineer Cosmos SDK and DevOps Engineer EVM.
DevOps Engineer Cosmos SDK
As a blockchain DevOps engineer you will be primarily responsible for maintaining our full nodes and validators. The focus will be on Cosmos SDK compatible nodes at first, like Cosmos, Terra, E-Money, and others, as well as a shared responsibility for other non-cosmos nodes like Solana and Flow. Our network is ever expanding and automation is key. It will be your responsibility to ensure the nodes can be spun up automatically, that monitoring is in place and that access to the users of the nodes is guaranteed.
DevOps Engineer EVM
As a blockchain DevOps engineer you will be primarily responsible for maintaining our full nodes. The focus will be on EVM compatible nodes at first, like Ethereum, Celo, The Graph, BSC, Matic and others, as well as a shared responsibility for other non-cosmos nodes like Solana and Flow. Our network is ever expanding and automation is key. It will be your responsibility to ensure the nodes can be spun up automatically, that monitoring is in place and that access to the users of the nodes is guaranteed.
Your Impact - Keep our cosmos-like nodes best-of-class for all the networks we are working on - Plan and execute disaster recovery on our nodes - Implement active and passive monitoring to minimize downtime and reduce off-hour incidents - Investigate high availability solutions - Implement API management to give third parties access to RPC and websockets - Work with customers on their needs regarding access - Be a presence on the various discord and slack channels for the various blockchains lending expertise and help to other validators and users - Implement and execute lifecycle management on node upgrades - Create documentation to ensure other people in the standby rotation are able to troubleshoot and fix issues that arise outside office hours
Requirements - Knowledge about blockchain technology and how it works - Experience with Ansible and/or Terraform - Experience with Docker and Kubernetes - Familiar with virtualization products like Proxmox or VMware - Eagerness to learn new technologies - Be comfortable with working remotely - Experience with Jenkins or other CI/CD tooling is a plus - Experience with databases such as GraphQL / Postgres / MySQL is a plus
