Description: A large hydraulic scale model of Tonstad 3 sandtrap is constructed in the hydraulic laboratory. The purpose is to test various solutions to improve the trap efficiency. The purpose of this MSc-project is to test different types of flow conditioners at the inlet of the sand trap. The work will be conducted with hydraulic scale modelling.
