Possibilities:

• Temperature limit: up to 1700 °C
• Max heating rate: Unknow (the max value is 25°C/min at present)
• Max cooling rate: No limit
• Size: Crucible diameter up to 50mm
• Atmosphere: Inert gas, Nitrogen,Argon, CO

Can not be used for:

• Oxidizing atmosphere

Previously used for:

• Investigate SiC formation in SiMn melts
• Reduction mechanisms in quarts
