Click the Start button 

  • Press "Settings" 
  • Press "Control Panel" 
  • Press "Devices" 

  • Press "Printer & scanners" 

    • or press WIN+key and Q search after "Add Printer" 
  • Press "Add a printer" 
  • Wait for the option "The printer that I want isn't listed" 
  • Press "The printer that I want isn't listed" 
  • Make sure "Select a shared printer by name" is selected  

  • In the box, enter: http://printhost.idi.ntnu.no:631/printers/itv154 

  • Press "Next" 
  • In the Manufacturer list, choose "HP" (not "Hewlett-Packard") 

  • In the Printers list, choose "HP LaserJet 4200/4300 PCL6 Class Driver"  if you can't find the correct driver press the button "Windows Update"  This may take 3-10min depending on computer  

  • Press "OK" 
  • Press "Next" 
  • Press "Finish" 

  • Right-click on "itv154 on http://printhost.idi.ntnu.no:631" 

  • Choose "printer properties" 
  • Press the tab called "Device Settings"  
  • Make sure the tray setting is "A4" and not "Letter"  
  • Under Installable Options, Duplex Unit (for 2-Sided Printing): 
  • Press and change to Installed 
  • Press "Apply" 
  • Press "OK"
