The methods to estimate ice actions on bridges across rivers (N400 SVV) is not based on real data on ice actions on existing bridge across Norwegian rivers. NTNU has installed ice load panels on a bridge across the Sokna river in Støren and a project and master thesis could work with numerical analysis, development of standards and field work.
