Equinor, Multiconsult, AKSO, COWI, Norconsult and other Norwegian companies are active in the development of Offshore wind production in the Baltic and in many cases drifting ice needs to be taken into account so that ice actions become important. A project thesis can work with numerical or experimental aspect of ice actions on structures for the exploitation of wind energy. Collaboration with European partners such as TU-Delft, Aalto, HSVA, TUHH is possible.
