Connect PLC to PC

The WAGO PLC 750-8214 has been configured to connect with PC's through the X2 RJ45 port. To connect to the PLC, the user must configure the PC network settings so that they can communicate.

Step 1:

In the task bar, right click the network icon and press "Open Network & Internet settings.

Step 2: 

Find the correct Ethernet device and press "Properties".

Step 3:

Press "Edit" for the IP section.

Step 4:

Set the parameters accordingly and save:

Step 5:

Enter the following device IP in Codesys. Make sure the device is set to WAGO 750-8214

Step 6:

Username: admin

Password: NTNUIndSysn29x1
