     3. Instrument training is agreed with the room manager

     4. Risk assessment (RA), sequence:

    1. RA to be filled in by the person who wants access - The activity must be approved by the supervisor, the applicant must fill in all steps in the work, and assess risks in these. Supervisor and applicant sign a PDF version of the RA.
    2. The signed RA is sent to the room manager for review and approval.
    3. If the RA contains the use of chemicals, the room manager must forward the RA to the chemistry manager Rebecca.
    4. The chemistry manager forwards the signed RA to the laboratory manager for the final approval.

Notice.: You should not put "all" on CC along the way, the next stage in the approval order does not need to be involved until this has a task to be carried out. For example, the laboratory leader can only be involved when he must give final approval. Unnecessary CC does not speed up prceedings. Also think through who is in the "To" fiels, do not invovle more than necessary. Anyone who has signed along the way will receive a signed copy when access is granted.

  • You can check the chemicals available in our department and others using Eco-online (url for tutorial). Eco-online is also used to download chemicals safety data sheets (SDS)
