We have 10 year data of sediments at the inlet and outlet of the settling basin from the project. The efficiency is low and models tests were conducted at HydroLab to improve the hydraulics. They have the results of improved hydraulic conditions but removal of sediments is still the remaining question. We can use the numerical model for two purposes; to verify the hydraulics of the basin and to quantify the sediment concentration at the outlet of the basin.
