How to download and install ANSYS
- Installation by NTNU Software at https://software.ntnu.no/ntnu/ansys.
- ANSYS is available at NTNU's Programfarm.
- An ANSYS free student software packages may be downloaded at https://www.ansys.com/academic/free-student-products.
Warning: If your local username contains non english letters ('æøå') you will not be able to run the software on that user.
Getting started with ANSYS
- Enter your ANSYS software (e.g. ANSYS Mechanical APDL) and click Help → Help Topics. Here you will find most documentation necessary.
