How to download and install ANSYS

Installation by NTNU Software at https://software.ntnu.no/ntnu/ansys.
ANSYS is available at NTNU's Programfarm.
An ANSYS free student software packages may be downloaded at https://www.ansys.com/academic/free-student-products.

Warning: If your local username contains non english letters ('æøå') you will not be able to run the software on that user.

Getting started with ANSYS

Enter your ANSYS software (e.g. ANSYS Mechanical APDL) and click Help → Help Topics. Here you will find most documentation necessary.
