Microsoft Azure is a collection of various cloud computing services, including remotely hosted and managed versions of proprietary Microsoft technologies, and open technologies, such as various Linux distributions deployable inside a virtual machine. (source)

In order to safely host both the server for storage and have a reliable service to run the dashboard, a virtual-machine is deployed using Microsoft Azure. To manage both the virtual machine, the storage and network protocols, they have been collected in a resource group called IoT-NTNU-AES.

In order to navigate to the resource group, first log into the Azure portal using this link.

Logging in will land you on the following page.

From there select 'Resource groups' from the menu on the left.

You will be shown a list of the resources groups you are currently a part of.

Select

from the menu list.

This should bring you to the next screen showing a collection of the services currently purchased by the resource group.

Here you can check which IP-address to connect to the virtual machine.

Click the 'MarDataTrial'

That will lead you to a page which shows the activity and load of the computer as well as some specificiations.
