Before starting:
- We recommend that your XRD samples are ready or nearly ready
- Contact lab responsible, and agree a time for training
- Fill in relevant forms, new user form (link in email) and room access form
- Create an account in the booking system
- Find the relevant project number for billing the use (students should ask their supervisor)
- It is recommended to make a plan for what you want to measure and why; such as finding suitable literature for XRD on similar samples.
At the training:
We will look into:
- Sample preparation
- Setting up measurement parameters
- Etc.
After the training:
You will receive some information about
- how to find and analyse your data
