 | Arnljot Høyland (1924-2002) is the coauthor of the book "System Reliability Theory" (the textbook). He was an active coauthor of the first edition of the book "System Reliability Theory", but sadly died before the second edition was initiated. Arnljot Høyland was a statistician at NTH/NTNU and has written several introductory textbooks in mathematical statistics (in Norwegian). He was the "father" of the group in mathematical statistics at NTNU and was also a mentor for the other author of your textbook (Marvin Rausand). |
