    a) Weight individual components as much as possible and calculate mass/volume.

  3. Calculate necessary changes to increase stability (in porpotion to the new payload)
    a) Recomended that the winch has a follower arm that locks the wire from translatorical movement around centre of mass for better response to wirepull
    20.04.2022:
    Payload weight is still unknown, but with prelimanary calculations it was obvious that 6 pillars were not enough for new design.
    right now the platform has a -2,4kg buoyancy without: ROV, battery compartment, Winch motor, or the added mass from expanding the frame. 

  4. Execute necessary changes
    a) Find the most unintrusive design addition for batteries and additional flotation
    b) Redo wiring in the electronics compartment
    c) prepare the top frame for new winch and controlbox.Execute necessary changes
    a) Split bottom pontoon into 3, middle section for batteries and corners for ballast
    b) Use the vertical columns for pure bouyancy.
    c) Move thrusters closer to center mass?
    d) lasecut splashbarriers for placement innside ballast tanks to avoid sloshing.
    e) Use real 12V car batteries for increased power and weight
  5. Test and document new stability
  6. Test in ocean (inkl. all systems in prt. 1).
