1.) Battery charged

Make sure battery is charged before use.

  • With the 12V, 720A car battery the stepper motor should be able to operate throughout a whole day of sampling.

2.) Hook up the battery with the power cables.

3.) Turn on the power with ON/ OFF button on the right.

The rightmost LED should start glowing. 

Themotor will enter calibration mode and start turning while the leftmost LED will start blinking.

The system is ready to operate when the stepper motor stops turning and the leftmost LED is turned off.

4.) Turn the stepper motor

With a single push of the button the motor will turn 75 degrees to the right, 150 degrees to the left and then back to center. The right LED is turned on when the motor is rotating.

When the turning has finished the system is ready for a new button push and repeat the turning
