BookitLab") for non-ambient XRD (D8 Advance)
You cannot book the instrument directly and will not get a training on the instrument. The measurements are done in collaboration with the lab-responsible which operates the instrument.
General procedures:
- Send an email to lab-responsible and ask if the experiment is reasonable, and if the instrument is available
- Send in an official service request (proposal), see description below. This should be done detailed and together with your supervisor.
- If lab-responsible finds your proposal realistic and interesting, you will discuss a suitable time for your experiment – Please note that your samples must be ready before we can start the in-situ experiments!
How to put in a servise request:
Go to Request services and then Requests. Click the plus sign and then choose Apply for in-situ XRD

You also need to select yourself as the user and add a project number.
Selecte the project for the request:
Fill in the Request Form:
Write any commetns in the Request Comments/Files field and click Submit/Process when you are done!
After submitting you will not be able to make changes to the request!
