English reading of Chinese characters in Japanese names.

Japanese names written in Kanji often have various readings depending on factors such as geographical origin of the name and era in which the person using the name lived. Finding the readings of both the given name and family name of any given person can be said to be a non-trivial task.
However, Japanese Wikipedia contains readings for people famous or important enough to be included in the digital encyclopedia. In addition, Wikipedia includes various information about these individuals such as birthplace and date, occupation, and often other information that might give a clue about the persons social status etc.
Using the information from Wikipedia, it should be possible to create a database that contains the readings of various given and family names in Japan and to associate these readings with data that might be able to establish patterns for which reading is used.
