For everyone taking the first year of the SESAM double degree at NTNU, it is mandatory to take Experts in Team work (EiT) during the Spring semester. See https://www.ntnu.no/eit.
There are about 80 different topics (Village themes), about ten of them are in English the rest in Norwegian. Which Village you take is free choice. If you take an energy-related village theme, it may count towards the minimum 80 ECTS SESAM. For instance, TIØ4855 Renewable Energy Management, the Village that Ruud will be leading, counts towards the 80 ECTS. Some other EiT villages that also count are listed in the Excel file (contact Ruud) under STUDY PROGRAM COURSE SELECTION. Note that the default program in the Excel overview has plenty of SESAM specialization ECTS, and for most SESAM students taking a different EiT village should not be a problem.
I have agreed with the Experts in Team work coordinators that SESAM students get priority concerning attendance of village “TIØ4855 Renewable Energy Management”. There is place for all SESAM students who are interested.
Each year in the Fall there is a period of a few weeks where you can select your top five choices for EiT villages. If you intend to participate in TIØ4855 you should send Ruud an email during that period.
