CoPCSE@NTNU Gathering in Trondheim, May 2016

Invitation

We are very pleased to invite you to the second gathering for CoPCSE@NTNU: Community of Practice for Computer Science Educators @ NTNU. The venue takes place in Trondheim, Tue May 3rd, with a social gathering the evening before (May 2nd), see a preliminary agenda below.

Every participant builds this wonderful event. Therefore we would be happy to see a presentation from you. Please, think about an interesting aspect from your practice that you would like to share with our community and inform your local CoPCSE representative before April 22nd. The suggested format: 7min of your presentation + 3-8min discussion (10-15min in total for one presenter). We are open to creative ideas, and we also provide a list of ideas that people have shown interest about so far, see below.

We are all about open and informal communication, therefore this time we have included several chat breaks and a planned social gathering in the agenda.  We are also planning one session for group discussions, targeted to more specific interest groups (such as databases, networks, OOP, etc).

In case you are wondering for a hotel, we recommend Thon Hotel Trondheim on Kongens Gate 15: close to Kalvskinnet campus, can be found in the Berg Hansen system (see info about rammeavtale).

Hoping to see many of us come together to share, discuss, and inspire!
