This is what we think we will need for our prototype

We want to place our prototype inside a freezer to control the cold environment.

The quickest solution is this freezer from Elkjøp.

The freezer will go down to -32 degrees with its Superfrost function.
The delivery time is ~23 days and the cost is 4995 kr.

The most professional solution is a lab freezer from VWR.
The delivery time is not disclosed and the cost is not disclosed

A freezer has been bought.

We found a CNC that has many elements we desire.

https://www.elefun.no/p/prod.aspx?v=60092

Its main issue is a bed that is too big. But it seems like it can be cut to size.

Mounting the camera on the same piece as the prostate frame would let the camera be focused on the slice at all times. We plan to use the same as used at MR Core Labs and in ARTS 1.0

We want several temperature sensors in our freezer to ensure the safety of the slices.

The temperature sensors costs ...

To make the Z-axis auto-calibrate, a smart Z-axis callibration tool should be bought and implemented as soon as possible. This makes operating the CNC a lot easier.

The CNC shown above comes with a z-axis calibration tool.

The CNC shown above comes with end stops

This is to make fastening the clamping pins easier.
