Note the rule:
Changing the stereochemistry of ALL asymmetric carbons does not change
the name, only the D/L situation. Implicitly, changing only the configuration at
carbon 6 (in hexoses) not only changes from D to L (or
vice versa
), but also
the name of the sugar. Example:
