the city grew, it eventually fully incapsulated Gløshaugen. There is today little
contact between the campus and the rest of the city. Even though Gløshaugen
is a vital part of the city image, it is in no way integrated with the city.
The project aims to develop and enhance NTNU by taking advantage of
the potential spaces on Gløshaugen plateau as well as the possibility of
densifying the building mass on campus. The goal is to revitalise the current
campus model and thereby consolidating NTNU into one unified body.
