Low emission living
One of the greatest challenges of our time is the climate
change. It is caused by an increasing amount of climate gasses
in the atmosphere. Seeing that the building sector represents
40 % of the emissions, the architects have to take their part of
the responsibility.
A lot of emissions are related to building and operating a build-
ing. Architects also influence how people live. In the western
world we live in a throw away society. We buy new in stead of
repairing something old. Can a more sustainable lifestyle be
encouraged?
