INTRODUCTION
A bird watching tower is a place of observation. This means that the
project should be a simple project, where tranquility is the key word.
It is a place of relaxation, we have just to be in contact with nature,
flaune and flora, to breathe fresh air.
This project must be an intimate, down, away from the passage.
Since this is a place of observation, we are in nature, it must be a
place of tranquility, as if time stops once you’re on the project.
The architecture should be simple and uncluttered: the project
requires a clarity in his reading, it must integrate into the site and
allow obeservation of this .
SITE
About the place:
RINDAL municipality has approximately 2.045 inhabitants and
covers a area of 640,7 km2 and borders to South-Trøndelag.
Rindal municipality is a typical inland community and is the only com-
munity in Møre and Romsdal that does not border to the sea.
In the south lies Trollheimen with all its fishing-lakes and pristine
beauty of scenery.
THE STRUCTURE
«There is pleasure in the pathless woods,
There is rapture on the lonely shore,
There is society where none intrudes,
By the deep sea and the music in its roar
I love not man the less, but Nature more.»
Into the wild
The main idea of this project is to create a place the most direct to the
nature on the top and to create a space more confortable to observe
it.
There is also a game between the verticals of the trees and this
project made like a line in the landscape.
