About The Role

We are hiring a Junior Talent Analyst intern to join the Marble team and to support our talent activities.

Reporting to our Talent Associate, you will work directly with Partners, senior team members, and brilliant founders on a mission to turn the tide on the climate crisis. This role offers a unique opportunity to spot amazing (future) founders, in an industry where people are everything and finding those amazing individuals is directly correlated to the success of the startups.

You will also get direct exposure to the journey of building startups, across thesis development, venture building, founder support, investment decisions, etc.

Location: Paris.

Language: English fluency, French is preferred but not mandatory.

Period: 6 month internship starting Mid-March 2025.

Responsibilities

The Junior Talent Analyst internship is focused on four main pillars:

  • Talent Sourcing: You will be the first filter on finding and engaging with amazing individuals. You’ll spot those founders by relying on external partners, weak signals, social media searchers, research papers, ecosystem tracking and any other proxies that are relevant. You’ll build an “eye” for talent and what makes founders great on paper and in practice.
  • Candidate & Ecosystem engagement: You will craft compelling outreach messages to engage candidates and get them excited about our opportunities. You will also act as the liaison between candidates, Marble and key ecosystem stakeholders — ensuring we continuously strengthen our networks and leverage them.
  • Collaboration and Founder Support on Hiring: You will work with founders and hiring managers to assist on portfolio hiring. You’ll also help setup the operational excellence necessary to build teams of A-players, from playbooks, talks, discussions, and others.
  • Data-driven approach: You’ll ****execute talent campaigns to test a variety of approaches, each strategically designed to be measurable, outcome-oriented and curated. You’ll measure how effective your different strategies are, track metrics, report on them, and ultimately generate data-driven insights across the business.

Requirements

The Junior Talent Analyst internship is a unique opportunity for an entrepreneurial student from a top school with passion for climate tech, startups, and venture programmes:

  • You are currently pursuing a Masters degree in business, management or engineering, with a strong interest in deep tech and venture capital.
  • You had previous experience (e.g. internship, school project, etc) in a fast-paced environment such as startup, venture studio, accelerator, venture fund, or related.
  • You have been interested in what makes a climate founder stand out, understanding some of the underlying traits that they display.
  • You are fluent in English. French is preferred but not mandatory. Any other language is additional.

Your ability to learn on the job is more important than ticking every single box. However we would especially love to hear from you if this sounds like you:

  • You are passionate about climate tech, startups, venture capital (VC). You are familiar with some climate deeptech startups.
  • You are creative and gritty, appreciating that it takes hard work to get an outsized outcome.
  • You move quickly and proactively. You're quick to recognize when things aren't on track and seamlessly transition into problem-solving mode.
  • You are highly organised and skilled at juggling competing priorities.
  • You are a fast learner and able context switch quickly from one thing to the next.
  • You have impeccable attention to detail and excellent written and verbal communication. When it comes to representing Marble, your communications, both written and spoken, are top-notch.
  • You are a pragmatic optimist with a driving motivation to mitigate climate change.
  • You are familiar with data analysis and tooling. You have worked with tools like Slack, Notion, Airtable, any CRM/ATS, etc.
  • You actively seek ownership. You are comfortable defining your own goals and enjoy working on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • You are a people person. You are approachable, empathetic and generous, with a high level of emotional intelligence. People feel energized around you.

What We Offer

  • €1,500 monthly internship stipend
  • Office located at Station F in Paris. Flexible remote days are possible
  • 1 week off in August during the office shut down
  • Meal vouchers (Swile), 50% transport refund
  • Exposure to our network of top founders, investors, and advisors
  • Working with the brightest, most driven individuals you’ll meet
  • Rapid learning curve and personal development
