Ice ridges are key features in the Arctic pack ice, but the knowledge about ice ridges is less than about level ice. The MOSAiC campaign (https://mosaic-expedition.org/) produced a lot of data about consolidation and melting of ice ridges and a analysis of data is ongoing internationally. A project and master thesis could contribute in this.
Collaboration with NPI (Norwegian Polar Institute and Alfred Wegener Institute is possible.
