WP5b: Practice placements for the development of new methods in science education WP5b (NTNU) will develop the use of practice placements in ITE as an integrating learning arena for the development of new methods in science education. This will be implemented through a DVD (in collaboration with UnivStrath & UPMF) as a tool for reflection in ITE focusing on student teachers working with innovative methods in science and mathematics education during teaching practice. The video sequences will be used as a basis for discussing relationships between teaching method and learning outcome in order to make explicit the learning processes of student teachers (product 5.2). |
