There are several methods that csan be used for sediment management in reservoirs and rivers. Some of these influence the operation of the hydropower plant. But till now, sediment management is not included into hydropoer otimization models. Hence, aim of the Master thesis is to analyse the oppotunities to integrate sediment management into the operation models. The thesis will be suprvised in close cooperation with DELTARES and/or SINTEF (leaders in reservoir operation modelling). Case studies in cooperation with energy companies can be included.
