NTNU and UNIS on Svalbard have investigated the ice in the Van Mijen fjord for 25 years. We work together with on ice conditions and ice ecology in sea ice in Svalbard fjords and a project / master thesis could address physical, and or ecological aspect of these data. It may also be possible to collect new data in field.
