Original Prusa SL1 is a open-source SLA 3D printer based on the MSLA printing process.

In the lab we also have the washing and curing machine that Prusa makes. This machine was purchased late 2020 and still has a few "barnesykdommer"

A TrollLabs guide is under production, but not done yet. Here are the most importent take-away

  • Use PrusaSlicer to slice you object the "same way" as other printers (smart orientations etc will differ) , but otherwise the process is different.
  • Do not use isopropanol on the FEP film (the plastic sheet).
  • Do NOT use katrin Z-fold paper to clean the FEP-film and the exposure glass as this can create scratches.
  • Wash the printplatform thouroghly after each print! Do NOT leave this with uncured resin longer than over night as this will cure and is near impossible to remove.
