Special topics in robotics
Robotics is a true interdisciplinary topic that requires all kinds of engineering knowledge including mechanical, electrical, and computer science.
It also covers a broad range of subjects such as sensor and actuators, dynamics and control, and artificial intelligence.
This class introduces the current research trends in robotics so as to help students keep up the top tier research.
The subjects of the class will vary depending on the current trends, but will include such topics as dynamics analysis using Lie group and algebra,
sensor and actuator systems, advanced control theories for robotics, machine learning, computer vision, and artificial intelligence.
