Kort beskrivelse av oppgaven:

In Ørland Municipality there are several ongoing activities related to energy efficiency and energy harvesting tasks for their buildings and surrounding infrastructure. These tasks include among others relocation and rehabilitation of listed heritage buildings, construction of new buildings in a new residential and service area together with relocated heritage buildings, thermally insulation retrofitting of buildings, utilization of building integrated photovoltaics, aesthetical considerations, and utilizing different areas for energy harvesting by solar cells such as e.g. earth walls and fences around the combat aircraft base at Ørlandet to mention a few examples. Activities may include one or several of the following methods: Literature and conceptual studies, theoretical work, modelling and simulation studies, innovation explorations, and experimental laboratory and field investigations. Specific student task assignments will be tailor-made according to the interest of the students and in close collaboration with the relevant partners at the location, e.g. Ørland Municipality, Kopparn Utvikling, Fosenkraft Energi, Fremtidens Industri and 132 Airwing Ørland.
