We discussed that we should help students to get better at debugging. Several things are important, please, add your suggestions inline, or as comments:
- What methodologies and principles should we teach?
- Are there any classic books on debugging?
- Any existing online material that we can use?
- Any courses in the NTNU that we all could benefit from? Perhaps even something from other disciplines, outside IT?
The following courses in NTNU currently include/are planning to include debugging practice and/or theory:
- ID202712 Systemutvikling og modellering - S4 B (Semester 4th, Bachelors) - Ålesund - lecturer: Anniken Susanne Th. Karlsen and Unknown User (gist)
- ID101912 Objektorientert Programmering - S2 B (Semester 2nd, Bachelors) - Ålesund - lecturer: Arne Styve
