 This is the wiki-page for the TDT4 Advanced TDT4 Advanced Bio-inspired Methods Course.


Announcements:

Kick-off (orientation) for TDT4 will be mid September. Dates and Time will be finalised in collaboration with the students taking the course.  

If you are thinking of taking the course (autumn2020) whether signed up or not, please contact pauline@ntnu.no to register. Please include whether you have taken IT3708 or an equivalent course. 

Preliminary dates for the workshops in the course:
  • W1: Tirs 22nd SEPT, kl 17.00-19.00 room 454 IT bygning
  • W2: Tirs 29th SEPT, kl 17.00 - kl 19.00  room 454 IT bygning
  • W2:  Tirs 13ene OKT, kl 10.00 - 12.00,  room xx IT bygning
  • W3 : Tirs 27th OKT, kl 17.00 - kl 19.00, room 454 IT bygning
  • W4:  Tirs 3rd NOV, kl 10 .00- kl 12.00,  room xx IT bygning

 Evaluation: 

Workshops: 50% of final mark: 

    •  Students must participate in ALL 5 6 workshops
    •  Students need to prepare for and participate active in each workshop
    •  Each student needs to 
      • lead a flipped classroom topic in the early workshops
      • select an article for submission to the workshop
      • submit the article with a brief summary of why the article was chosen ( max 2 short paragraphs) : deadline XXXXX  ( to pauline@ntnu.no)
      • prepare to lead the discussion about the article (30-40 mins) : deadline depends on assigned workshop date

Essay       : 50% of final mark

    • short essay ( max 5 pages excl header page)
    • topic given out at final workshop
    • one week prior to deadline
