10-08Professor Antoine Rauzy joins the RAMS group. His (most recent) previous position has been Professor at the Ecole Polytechnique and the professor and director of the Chair Blériot-Fabre "Dependable Embedded Systems" at Centrale-Supérlec, Paris.
03-08Andreas Marhaug joins the RAMS group as a scientific assistant (1 year). He has a master from the subsea program, with specialization in RAMS.
15-06Hai Canh Vu starts in a postdoc position in the RAMS group. The position is partly funded by the Norwegian Public Road Administration, and is related to the E-39 Ferry free project
01-05Professor Marvin Rausand has retired from NTNU. His contributions to the group and the research area have been significant, and he is deeply missed. Fortunately, he will be in office occasionally as Professor Emeritus.
01-04PhD and Postdoc Positions announced in the new center for research driven innovation in subsea producation and processing (SUBPRO). Deadline of for applying was 27th of April 2015.
23-03An Onsager Fellowship in Safety and Reliability of Complex Systems has been announced. The successful applicant will be employees as an associate professor. Deadline for applying is 25th of May 2015.

A new full-time permanent professorship at the RAMS group in "Risk and reliability assessment of complex systems" is announced. The application deadline is 20 February 2015. There were nine applicants and these are currently being evaluated

01-12Professor Stein Haugen formally leaves the RAMS group to start working as a professor in risk analysis at the Department of Marine Technology, NTNU

Fares Innal joins the RAMS group as a postdoc in reliability assessment of safety-critical systems. He is coming from an associate professorship at Batna University in Algeria. The postdoc period runs for two years, i.e., until November 2016.

01-09Anne Barros joins the RAMS group as a professor in subsea reliability. The professorship is sponsored by DNV-GL. She is coming from a professorship in reliability at Université de Technologie de Troyes in France.
01-09Professor Mary Ann Lundteigen replaces Professor Jørn Vatn as head of the RAMS group.
01-09Professor Jørn Vatn is the new head of the Department of Production and Quality Engineering and therefore leaves his affiliation to the RAMS group. At the same time, the former head of the department, Associated professor Per Schjølberg returns as a full-time member of the RAMS group.
15-08Abraham Jigar starts up as a PhD student in the RAMS group. The preliminary title of his thesis is "Reliability engineering of safety-critical systems". Supervisors: Mary Ann Lundteigen and Yiliu Liu. Abraham is coming from a position in Aker Solutions, Oslo.
